Klamath River Dam Removal on Farm Talk Radio

Dave Munson of Farm Talk radio (Tuesdays at 10 am) is proud to continue his interviews concerning the current undamming of the Klamath River.

This coming Tuesday, February 13th, Dave will be interviewing Dave Meurer of Resource Environmental Solutions (RES}. RES is in charge of all of the restoration of the 22,000 to 25,000 acres of silt covered land that was underneath the 4 reservoirs. This is a monumental task and it will be fun to hear how it’s going here at the beginning of the project. The gathering of seeds began three years ago and now there are billions of seeds ready to be planted by the hands of local native tribes.

On the following Tuesday at 10 o’clock on February 20th , Dave will be interviewing Ren Brownell of the Klamath River Restoration Corporation (KRRC). The KRRC is the lead agency for the entire dam removal project.

All interviews are available on Spinitron for the first two weeks after the interviews. You can hear the interview with Amy Cordalis by punching in January 30th at 10 AM on KSKQ and The Glen Spain interview can be found by punching in February 6th at 10 AM on KSKQ.
