Ashland World Music Festival

This Memorial Day Weekend, the Ashland World Music Festival (AWMF) invites you to a weekend of community and the arts IN PERSON. And this year, KSKQ will be Partner-level sponsor of the 2023 AWMF!

 Rogue World MusicThe 2023 AWMF features a live main stage event highlighting culture-bearing musical artists in Lithia Park, a HeartBeat Stories event, a percussion workshop, a community samba dance on Ashland's downtown Plaza, and a weekend of SoundWalking through beautiful downtown Ashland. All festival events are FREE, family friendly, & ADA accessible. More information on these events can be found at www.rogueworldmusic.org/events.

KSKQ will be at the Lithia Park Bandshell on May 28th.

The Multicultural Association of Southern Oregon owns KSKQ Community Radio. It holds the Federal Communications Commission Non-Commercial Educational license, is legally responsible for KSKQ and sets editorial policy. MCASO was founded to combat racism and other forms of discrimination. Its mission is To serve as a catalyst in the community, promoting understanding and appreciation between cultures, by creating cross-cultural educational opportunities where people of all backgrounds can interact in an environment of goodwill.

KSKQ's editorial policy encourages diversity in programming, but racism, hate speech and statements that promote exclusion are not allowed as they are contrary to the mission.
