OFF AIR — PRESS RIGHT TO LISTEN
The Voice of the Rogue Valley
The KSKQ broadcast is available to the Ashland / Medford areas including much of the Rogue Valley and beyond. KSKQ holds its designation as a community radio station very sacred.
KSKQ provides an electronic megaphone to individuals and organizations that might otherwise be shut out of the mainstream corporate media as they strive to get their important messages out. Community members and local organizations are often invited to the station to be interviewed.
KSKQ is a nonprofit volunteer organization sustained by donations from listeners, business underwriting, income from fundraising events, and foundation grants.
Editorial Policy
The Multicultural Association of Southern Oregon owns KSKQ Community Radio. It holds the Federal Communications Commission Non-Commercial Educational license, is legally responsible for KSKQ, and sets editorial policy. MCASO was founded to combat racism and other forms of discrimination.
KSKQ’s editorial policy encourages diversity in programming, but racism, hate speech and statements that promote exclusion are not allowed as they are contrary to the mission.

Listener support keeps this station on the air
Although most of us are volunteers, being on the air costs money every day — the studio, the microwave link to the transmitter, streaming, and utilities, to list the basics. All monetary contributions are tax-deductible.
Donate
Give any amount, once or as a monthly sustaining contribution that gives us regular income we can depend on. Handled securely by PayPal.
Donate to KSKQVolunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of KSKQ. We need help with office tasks, web maintenance, contact lists, newsletter writing, and editing — the list goes on.
Download the volunteer form and send it to station-manager@kskq.org.
Donate a vehicle
Car, boat, motorcycle, or truck. We schedule the pick-up and handle the details; after it sells at auction KSKQ gets the proceeds and you get a tax-deductible receipt.
Make a show
We are always looking for locally produced programs: local events, public affairs, or your own musical tastes. News runs an hour, music two.
Download the program proposal form and send it to ProgramDirector@kskq.org.
